Movie ends with very little resolution.NSFW posts are not allowed. Leia's spirit shows up in the end to advise Rey. They travel to Cloud City to find Rey who has been frozen in Carbonite and whatever else happens, Luke faces off with Kylo and dies to protect his protege and friends exactly like Obi-Wan against Vader. So in what is practically a shot for shot remake of A New Hope, Luke gives Finn a crash course in being a Jedi alongside Han and Chewbacca in the Millennium Falcon. Luke cant deny the extraordinary providence of his brother in law showing up with some kid who has his old lightsaber.
So they travel to the Degobah System to find Luke. Han has been a high priority target, off the grid for decades. The New Order finds them and they narrowly escape in the Millennium Falcon. Finn finds Han and tells him what's happening. Shit goes down, Rey and Finn cross paths, Rey is captured and Finn escapes. Finn escapes disguised as a Storm Trooper and makes his way to Tattooine. Finn, who has been told about Han since he was a child, knows he has to find his dad's old friend because he would be the only person who can help the rebels defeat the New Order. Lando dies when the New Order invades Cloud City. The rebellion is doing well until Kylo Ren starts pulling some Darth Vader shit. He has a son, Finn, who is not only force sensitive, but also somehow found Luke's lightsaber(and rotting hand) in Cloud City.
Lando brought the rebellion back to Bespin. Leia died in childbirth, and Rey reminds Han more of Leia than himself as she grows up.
Han and Leia went into hiding on Tattooine. So if you really wanna throw caution to the wind and start speculating on the nature of this movie based on we have been told and what we know about Star Wars. That lines up pretty well for a story arc with deep emotional significance to the characters. You could also make a decent argument that Rey in fact is Han's daughter, because if that setting implies that some character in the movie is probably getting frozen in carbonite, and also a known character has a strong chance of being Han's daughter. Which Luke lost in Cloud City, along with his hand. That looks a lot like Anakin's lightsaber. For it to be relevant enough to make it into the poster, I would imagine the correlation is worth noting.Īlso. The presence of that image could bolster theories that Finn is related to Lando Calrissian in some way, since one of only like 3 already known black guys in the whole galaxy came from a place with that style of architecture. There could be a lot of interpretations irresponsibly but still somewhat reasonably drawn from the imagery. They're the stairs in the "carbon freezing chamber" in Cloud City. Just because "Carbonite Stairs" probably sounds like complete nonsense to anybody who doesn't immediately get the reference.
